What affects the price of book design

Every book is different. These are the factors that change a quote.

Page count. Longer books take more time to lay out and proof.

Images and illustrations. Photos, charts and illustrations need placement, sizing and color checks.

Custom elements. Tables, sidebars, exercises and fill-in pages add design time.

Revisions. Formatting includes two rounds, interior design two rounds and cover design three rounds. Extra rounds are $85 per hour.

Timeline. Rush schedules add 50% to the project price.

My book cover design starts at $500 and includes front, spine, back and an eBook cover. Cover design is included with interior packages.

Do you offer a discount for a cover and interior together?

Yes. The complete book package bundles interior design, formatting and cover design at a lower price than buying each separately.

How do payments work?

I ask for 50% to start the project and the remaining 50% when I deliver your final files.

What if I need more revisions?

Extra revision rounds are $85 per hour. I'll tell you before any additional work starts.
