Your trim size and printer, or I can recommend a common size for your genre.
Any images, charts or illustrations, in the highest resolution you have.
Text for the front and back matter: dedication, acknowledgments, about the author.

What is the difference between formatting and interior design?

Formatting sets your book up correctly. Interior design adds a custom look with typography, chapter openers and layout. I can do both together.
